Addy had her final dance recital with Tiffany's Dance Co. at the Sandy Amphitheater. She has been talking about dancing on the "big stage" on the "seventh of June" since February.
We drove back from St. George this day and made it home in time to change into her costume, do a quick hair curl (which didn't last long with the sprinkling of rain), and drive to Sandy. After a long day that started with swimming, St. George heat, no car nap...this was how excited she was when we arrived...
She eventually got over it and was excited to do her two dances.

This is our cute neighbor friend, Alyssa, whose mother clearly took much more time getting her daughter ready than I did (she looks darling Kristin!).

Thanks to some rock star Grandmas for sitting through 90 minutes of a dance recital to watch their granddaughter. Jonathan can't wait until next year!
She is darling! Eventhough I was really never a dancer, I have to agree with you. There is nothing sweeter than watching your little girls all dressed up in their dance outfits.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter's hair doesn't hold curl either. (Kind of weird considering my mop on top!) Addy's so cute, even grumpy. I love that you took a picture anyway. Some of my favorite pics of my kids are them at their not best moments. What would childhood be without a pout now and then?
