Addy & Santa

Santa looks like he's enjoying Addy crying just a little too much. It must be his "Santa Smile" because it doesn't change the slightest bit from picture to picture.

Climbing Obsession

Addy loves climbing into anything. Baskets, tiny drawers, laundrey baskets, diaper boxes, etc. She also gets very frustrated when she doesn't fit.

Moshi, moshi.

This is one of my favorite faces Addy does. It is the surprise "oh" and it is always accompanied by a fast little head bob.

Getting Big

Addy loves to play with Grandma Sans glasses. Throwback to the 60s anyone?

Dad, I'm trying to get some work done, will you please not bother me right now?

Mom, didn't you hear me? You can play with that camera another time.

Fun Family Tradition

We have a really fun tradition that started with my Grandma and now my Mom continues the fun. Every year after Thanksgiving dinner is over, we clean off the table and all the ladies decorate gingerbread houses. My Mom does all the work: baking the house pieces, gathering all the candy, making the frosting, providing activities for all the kids to do so the Moms can work, etc. Thanks Coz--we had a great time.

Side note funny story: My Mom bought Ratatouille (sp?) for all the kids to watch upstairs. She blew up air mattresses and we got all of the kids in their jammies so the Moms could work uninterrupted. About an hour into the show, the only person still up their watching the movie was Jonathan--and Addy was asleep in the crib!

Why Bother With Toys?

Addy has a whole cupboard of toys, but what does she like best? The dishwasher! She hears me open it and is over there in a flash. She loves pulling things out of the silverware holder, and for some reason, she always picks, the largest, sharpest knives. (Don't call Child Protective Services--we don't let her play with them too long) The other day I turned my back to answer the phone and when I turned around, she had climbed right on top.

Her other favorite toy these days is Saran wrap and Ziploc bags. (Okay, maybe you should call Child Protective Services--suffocation hazard!) I think this Christmas we'll save our money and just keep refilling the baggie drawer.

Pumpkin Patch/Halloween Parties

We had a great Halloween season. Fun parties, trip to the pumpkin patch, crazy costumes, and yummy candy. Hope you all had a fun Halloween too!

One Year Old Pictures

Let's just say that Addy isn't the easiest child to photograph. She can be fed, napped, happy, smiley...and then turn into a crazy child when she is put in front of a camera. It's quite hilarious actually. She starts to anticipate the flash and flinches and scowls before the picture is even taken. She would get frustrated and start to pull her ears and her hair and then crawl away. By the end of the photo shoot, I was sweating, had rug burns from chasing Addy, and my once happy baby was now crying and ornery. Why is it that we do this?

Snowbird Sunday

With the fall colors brighter than ever, we decided to make our way up Little Cottonwood Canyon. There was just a little bit of snow on the ground, but it didn't seem to stop anyone from getting ridiculously drunk at Oktoberfest--I don't think anything would.

Addy's Polka Dot Party

The invitation created by Dani

Birthday Girl enjoying her pizza

My Mom made this darling cake--this picture doesn't show the size. Each circle is an 8" round cake!

Don't you know you're never supposed to put "Baby" in the corner!

Addy loved this bow from Griffin's present more than anything else (thanks for the cute skirt Aunt Linds)

I hung a picture from 1 to 12 months, even Jonny couldn't put them in order

Posted by PicasaThanks for the yummy cake Grandma!
