Ethan: 4 Months Old

I really didn't cut his head off in each of these pictures, but for some reason when I put it in a collage, that's what it does.

Oh how I love this little guy!  He is a really good baby and a happy boy!  I love seeing his smiling face and smooching his neck to get some little giggles out of him.

Stats
Weight:  15.6 lb (40th percentile)
Length:  27 in. (95th percentile)

He is by far my biggest baby!  I am still nursing him every 3 hours and have to supplement with an extra bottle here and there; in fact, I just purchased my first container of formula EVER and with that crazy price tag, I'm glad my girls refused to drink it.  With his two little bottom teeth, it has become a bit tricky to keep nursing; however, the last time he bit me I yelled so loud it scared him and he started to cry...hasn't bit me since.  He gnaws on his little fists all the time.  I'm sure he'd love a great teething toy; however, he doesn't quite have the dexterity to hold one very long and ends up back at his hands.

He loves his little "kick kick" toy as the girls call it.  He can roll from front to back and just barely got back to front.  He often gets stuck on his left shoulder and will scream until someone comes and helps him over.

He does not love a binky.  Bummer.  I tried and tried, but the only time he will take it is if he is swaddled tight in my arms and is really tired, then he'll suck on it just enough to put him to sleep and it pops right back out.

He still hates riding in the car.  I am used to his constant screaming and crying at this point.  As soon as we stop and he sees someone's face, the smiles come right back.  It's helpful when Addy is in the car since she sits right behind him and she can keep him somewhat entertained.

He loves the tub.  Funny enough, he likes to turn his head just enough to get a little drink of water here and there.  He kicks and splashes from beginning to end.

He enjoys sitting in the bumbo chair on the counter and interacting with his sisters. I feel like we just rotate from the bumbo, to the exersaucer, to the floor until he is ready for a nap.

He is the king of cat naps.  He mostly just naps here and there for about 30 minutes.  I know that is mostly my fault in not being home enough for him to have a good long nap.  Surprisingly, he is still quite happy throughout the day.  He does sleep quite well at night.  He was totally sleeping through the night but then he got an ear infection and that threw everything off.  Just last night, he slept for a good 10 hours, so hopefully we are on our way back.

Happy Birthday London!

I started asking London a couple months before she turned three what kind of party she wanted.  She's been obsessed with My Little Ponies and Littlest Pet Shop so I thought it would be something along those lines.  Much to my surprise, she clearly stated, "Angry Birds."  I thought she would change her mind, but she didn't.

The invitation (proud to say I made this one)

If I curl her hair, you can't see the damage from her own haircutting skills (or lack thereof)

Gma Cozy never disappoints!  Perfect!

The cute banner, "Happy Angry Birthday"

We set up blocks and boxes with green pigs and golden eggs and had the kids throw these balls turned birds to see if they could knock them down.  A big thank you to my friend Kristin who let me borrow her wonderful creations she made for her own son's Angry Birds Party.  They were a hit!

Then it was onto the game, "Pin the Crown on the Pig"

When no one was watching, London took her finger and swiped the entire edge of her cake little by little.  Gma Cozy makes some yummy frosting.

London was a bit disheartened that her cousin Zach helped in the candle blowing, so we did a take two with just London.

While it looks like she took a punch to the mouth, it was just the frosting that she thoroughly enjoyed!

Loved her doll

Alex and Lena found the perfect present that combined London's two loves...jammies and Angry Birds.

She didn't waste any time putting it on.

We finished off the party with a rockin' pinata

All the cousins lined up youngest to oldest

Happy Birthday London!  We love you!
