Why Bother With Toys?

Addy has a whole cupboard of toys, but what does she like best? The dishwasher! She hears me open it and is over there in a flash. She loves pulling things out of the silverware holder, and for some reason, she always picks, the largest, sharpest knives. (Don't call Child Protective Services--we don't let her play with them too long) The other day I turned my back to answer the phone and when I turned around, she had climbed right on top.

Her other favorite toy these days is Saran wrap and Ziploc bags. (Okay, maybe you should call Child Protective Services--suffocation hazard!) I think this Christmas we'll save our money and just keep refilling the baggie drawer.

    Those are Hadley's favorite things too!!! I finally got jake to put drawer locks on all I could..the dishwacher is another battle.

    Gretta has a drawer in the kitchen all to herself that has toy pots and pans and stuff, but I threw in a box full of sandwich baggies too because she loved them so much! She's a little over the baggies now that she's a bit older, but it sure came in handy.

    BTW, I love your dishes! Love the colors!

    too funny! i love the pic in the dishwasher. it is very cute (until the door breaks!)... we miss you guys! hope all is well and keep addy away from those knives!!!!

    How great! I swear all our "toys" go to waste. It is always the sippy cup drawer or tupperware...Love it!!!

    Thanks for the comment on my blog! You're right, it is a good way to keep in touch, without all the work! I soooo wish I was going to the conference this weekend. I had really thought about it, but we have had too many trips up there already these past few months. Let me know how it is!
