Four Weeks Old

His hair seems to have a bit of a "strawberry" tint to it which I think this picture reflects.  Jonathan had similar hair color when he was a baby too.

Things to Remember:

Love having Ethan fall asleep on my chest so I can smell his sweet breath and snuggle his neck

The thumper leg when changing diapers

Getting beaten with the acne stick (Ethan), happened much sooner than with my girls...I think likely due to the estrogen patch I'm sporting, but hey, no post partum, so thanks Ethan for taking one for the team.

Not getting much sleep.  He's up every 2 hours...haven't had 3 straight for a LONG time.  Hope Month #2 gets better.

This kid eats A LOT!  I feel like I'm nursing him every hour...not quite, but that's what it feels like.  The pediatrician was quite impressed with his 1 pound weight gain at his 2 week appointment.

Mama's down 20 lbs...9 to go, but a whole lot of toning needed!  Can't wait to get the go ahead to start CrossFit'n again so I can trash the same 4 clothing items wear over and over and over.

So grateful for kind and thoughtful family and friends who have provided meals, playdates, sleepovers, and rides to school.  THANK YOU!

  1. I think Luke's hair is rather reddish too--is it a blondish newborn thing? Let me know how you carve out time to work out when you return to it because I need some tips! You already look amazing by the way--you know that right?!
