Sunday, March 4th was a beautiful spring-like day with blue sky and the sun shining. Ethan was wide awake for his blessing but didn't make a peep. Jonathan gave him a beautiful blessing. He blessed him that he would grow in the knowledge and understanding that he is a child of God and his noble birthright. He blessed him to have happiness and success in life, the desire to gain a testimony and live the commandments, and that his physical body would grow and develop naturally. He was blessed to have a stong desire to build the kingdom of God and serve a mission and one day seek a helpmate and marry in the temple. He blessed Ethan to be an example and to treat all with love and respect, especially Heavenly Father's daughters.
We enjoyed having both of our families there including Aunt Kenni, Grandma Ber, and Grandma Carlson. We sorely missed the China Carlson family and the Okalahoma Eberhardts.
