We had a pretty low-key birthday party for Ethan this year. The Eberhardts were out of town, so it was just my parents, Alex & Lena, and the Lassiters.
When my Mom asked what kind of cake Ethan wanted for his first bithday, I just told her a smiley face...since he's always smiling.
He wasn't sure what to think, especially with Addy holding his arms down. Funny enough, he didn't want anything to do with his piece of cake. Didn't like the texture on his hands so he never even took a bite.

Happy Birthday Mr. Man! Our lives are so much better, happier, and more fun because you are in it. Can't imagine how we got along without you for all these years!
