Addy has been perfecting the army crawl these past couple weeks. She uses the hard wood floor for sliding which helps her conquer more ground in less time. Another milestone Addy has accomplished over the past couple weeks is taking a bottle! Hallelujah! At fir
st, she would only take these funny bottles that came with my pump. They have leprochauns on them and they say, "A little magic and a little gold in every bottle!" I told Addy that was a tad embarassing for her, so, we're happy now that she's branching out to different types of bottles. :-) She still doesn't take formula--we're still working on that one, for my sake--but at least she is drinking out of a bottle. So at 10 months, I can't help but think how cute she looks holding that bottle. We're a tad slow here at our house. I purchased this book called, "Baby Bites," which is written by a registered dietitian and I wish I would have had it a few months back when Addy started eating solids. It's a great resource, has fun easy baby food recipes, and gives me a bit more guidance between those pediatrician appointments. (I know, I know--classic first-time overprotective mothering!)
