I was scanning in a bunch of pictures for a book I'm making for my Grandpa when I stumbled upon these beauties:

Let me explain. For our senior trip we went to tropical St. George. We decided (obviously ahead of time because we had to pack these items) that we were going to wear formal dresses and wigs to dinner one night. Funny, right? I love us. Anyway, most of us had somewhat believable wigs although any 90's drill teamer knows what those rat's nests are. Melissa, on the other hand, picked the classic Martha Washington wig, blends right in.
I'm not sure what I love more, the one eye peering out of the flaming white wig or the turquoise Mercury you are posing on. This is why I love these girls so much! Whether it's Sarah's Cleopatra wig or Suzie's "Oh, are you taking a picture of me?" face...you sure can make me laugh! Jonathan wasn't quite sure what to think. I may have to pull out that long braid sometime, it may spice things up a bit. However, Melissa, I wouldn't recommend doing the same with the Martha wig.
Laughter to tears! Laughter because we actually did this and tears because I was so skinny.Thank you for making my week.
ReplyDeletep.s. you know what's even better is that we went to dinner at Chilis!
That's hilarious. I don't think I have these photos though I remember the event well. I think I remember someone telling the waiter that we had been at a ballroom dance competition in Vegas or something. Thanks Miki. I think we should all do this again soon and if not, just a girls trip would be great.
ReplyDeleteI am all for reliving the magic. Kate, I'm in! Do you remember how we took pictures in front of the St. George Temple peering over the bushes? Guest speaker, the Prophet. Mik, you rule.
ReplyDeleteI did NOT choose to wear the martha wig. It was the only one left. I din't even bring it. Although it was awesome. Thanks for the laugh. I love you girls!
