The other day I was listening to Dr. Laura in the car and Addy said, "Mom, why do you have to listen to Dr. Laura?"
I told her that Dr. Laura helps us make the right choices.
Her interpretation? "So Dr. Laura helps you to be happy?"
Sure.
So two days later, I asked Addy to please clean up her room. She didn't do it. I asked her again and this time I said, "Addy, please clean your room so Mean Mom doesn't have to come out."
Addy said, "Mom, you need to listen to Dr. Laura so she will make you happy."
Got it.
Justin refers to her as "the crazy lady".
