December 23rd

My in-laws have "Christmas Eve" every year on December 23rd.  I love this for many reasons, but mostly because it spreads out the fun before Christmas.

All the "friends" (as Addy calls them).  So excited to have the Oklahoma Eberhardts with us this year!

The adults enjoying a delicious dinner made by Sandi.

The Nativity.
Pretty sure their were 3 Marys and Baby Jesus could speak Spanish.  (Soy Tad!)

London didn't last in the nativity long.  I think this is just one time she actually sat still the whole night.  She ended up being the "tourist" in the nativity story.

The anticipated annual arrival of Santa Claus himself!

The kids were thinking, "All right all ready Santa.  Stop talking and show us what you got!"

London even warmed up to him.

This picture doesn't look forced, does it?

Just have to say a big thank you to Pops and Sans for hosting such a fun evening.  We love this tradition and were so happy to spend it with the whole Eberhardt clan!

  1. That's a really brilliant idea, celebrating on the 23rd. It sounds like a nice way to cut down on the in-law in-fighting :)
