Herriman Days Parade 2011

Ever since we moved to Herriman 4 years ago, we've attended the Herriman Days Parade.  We know to sit at the beginning of the route, by my sister's house for good parking and lots of candy.

Lunch sacks ready to fill with more saltwater taffy than we wanted.  It was a perfect 70 degree morning.

Addy is giving London some tips on how to get the most candy during the parade

Herriman City float paying tribute to those who helped during the fire last fall

Gotta love small town parades where even the landfill has a float!

Addy was so excited to see the cheerleaders

Took this for our Jeep-loving friend Travis

Herriman Stake's float, took this for my sister who is in charge of the float for her stake next year.

With still about 1/3 of the parade left, my girls' bags of candy were so full, they didn't even run out to pick any up when it was thrown right at them.

A couple years ago we ventured to the Days of '47 parade downtown and Addy was totally disappointed by the whole thing because they didn't throw candy.

Also, from the time Addy was 18 months until about 3 years old, any time she'd see a fire truck she'd yell, "Candy!"

Good times at the Herriman Parade!
