We signed Addy up for summer soccer and she couldn't be more excited! Jonathan has been kicking a ball around with her in the backyard a couple nights a week getting her ready.
Yesterday I was in the kitchen while they were in the backyard and she came inside to ask me a couple soccer-related questions:
Addy: Hey Mom, did you know that you can't use your hands at all in soccer? (with large circle hand gestures)
Me: Oh, that's right.
Addy: What happens if you use your hands?
Me: The other team gets the ball.
Addy: Do they call the police?
A few minutes later, she popped back in....
Addy: Hey Mom, when you score a goal, do they pick you up and cheer?
Me: I think they probably will just cheer. (dashing all of her hopes and dreams)
Looks like she has this soccer thing built up pretty big in that little head of hers.
