StayCation Day 1: Natural History Museum

We had planned a trip to St. George, but we had some work/school issues come up that prevented us from going.  I didn't take any clients for the week, so we planned a "staycation" with the girls and went somewhere different each day.

First stop:  The new Natural History Museum up by Red Butte Garden.  It's quite an amazing building and they give architectural tours for those who know about that kind of thing.  The extent of my architectural knowledge is, "Wow, that's a cool-looking building!"

With a stroller as part of our brigade, we were advised to start at the top and work our way down.  So, to the roof we went.

Gorgous mountains and cute girls among a sea of solar panels

I'm on a bridge taking a picture of a really cool staircase (of course, those are the scientific architectural terms)

Ethan was there too.

The girls putting together the parts of a cell

Just putting the "golgi apparatus" back in place

The dinosaurs which made quite an impact on my girls
