Herriman Garden

This year we decided to take advantage of the Herriman Community Garden.  It's a pretty great set-up.  You pay $40 (that you get back at the end of the season if your plot is cleaned up), and you get a large 10 x 30 garden plot that has already been tilled and set up for irrigation.  All you have to do is plant and water in between the irrigation days.

With our busy May and early June, we ended up finally planting everything the second weekend in June.  The girls were eager to help.

We planted tomatoes, peppers, pumpkins, squash, beans, peas, carrots, watermelon, and cantaloupe.

London was pretty excited!
(and decided that the shirt was long enough to warrant going without shorts)
