It worked!

So, all those stupid mutual activities that the boys were in charge of actually paid off! When I was a YW, and the boys had to plan an activity, they usually forgot, so at the last minute they would say, "We're going to meet at the Wright's garage and learn how to check the oil and change a tire." I seriously can't count the number of times we did this. (Sarah, Kelley--back me up on this one)
Well, I came out to my car after a weekday meeting at the church and my back tire was flat. Can't be more proud that I changed it myself! By the sound of Jonathan's voice on the phone, I think I impressed him too.

Okay, this isn't me.
But wouldn't it be funny if I wore that to my Primary meeting at the church?

  1. My, "Grandma Friendly" - are you schizophrenic? And your good husband, my son, Jonathan, has bought you a hot sports car? So not him! Good job on the tire

  2. Oh yeah...I got your back on this one. Refer to my Oct.'07 blog...I praised the lazy priests in a post as well...but man, Miki, we rock!! High five. And by the way...I'm surprised no one stopped to help, especially in an outfit like that...except for the guy that borrowed your camera to take a picture of you changing the tire-what a jerk! ;)

  3. Wow, I am seriously impressed! I wouldn't have the first clue of how to do that. If I find myself in a jam, I'll have to call you and have you talk me thru it. :)

  4. Wow! Way to go Miki! I have to say that I'm not that surprised though. You are so well rounded.
