Don't know what the homeowner's association will say, but we decorated for the whole street.
Yes, I know, Jonathan did inform me that I did the stripes wrong and that my blue square of stars is too small, but can't we just stick a feather in our hats and call it macaroni?
(By the way, the last stripe is still drying which is why it looks a little crazy)
Fun idea I got out of Family Fun Magazine. Make your own sidewalk chalk with equal parts of cornstarch and water. Add tempura paint. Use a paint roller and have at it. This may become a new tradition...painting fun things for each holiday...hmm, I like the sound of that. And next year, my flag will be precise.
My little helper who wouldn't let me put her jammies on...can you say stubborn?

what a fun idea! I might have to do that next year.

ReplyDeleteNice idea!
ReplyDeleteI love it! I totally agree with Melanie because my husband is an engineer/tech geek and that is totally something he would say too. Sometimes I think they just can't quite catch the vision.
ReplyDeleteThat is so fun Mik! I bet Addie loved it, and I love her expression on her face...not gonna wear my jammies mom!:) She is great.
ReplyDeleteHow cute! I'm very impressed! Your house is so cute! That is such a fun idea I bet the neighbors were quite jealous!
ReplyDeleteI love it! What is the next holiday? A giant pumpkin. I can't wait to see your turkey in November.
