MS 150 Bike Ride

Here they are in their full kits.

I'm not sure who the three on the right are, likely co-workers of Jonny's.

Jonathan, my brother Tyler, and my brother-in-law Chad, and Tyler's brother-in-law Clark (not pictured), and Jonathan's brother Chad (also not pictured) and many many others participated in a 100 mile ride in Logan on Saturday to raise money for MS.

They had a sobering experience along the way when they watched a woman collide with a man on their bikes going about 25 miles per hour. As I have been told (and Jonathan can edit if need be) the woman took the brunt of her fall on her head and they slid for a ways before coming to a stop. She started seizing, flailing limbs, and foaming at the mouth. Tyler held her head to prevent further injury. They waited there until the paramedics arrived to load them both up on stretchers.

I was glad to hear they all tried to be a little more cautious and careful after seeing that. It was great they were right there and ready to help. They don't know what the extent of either of their injuries were, but hopefully they will both be okay. Kind of a downer, but the great news is that they all finished and had a great time! Way to go Jonathan!
