After all the excitment of the rides, we stopped by the "horse pulling" to watch. Being a city girl, I've never seen this before, but it was quite impressive. They load a specified amount of weight onto a sled and then they clip the horse harness to the sled and the team of 2 horses have to pull it for 20 feet. Then the next team goes for it. They would keep increasing the weight until the horses could only pull it a few feet, whichever team pulled it the farthest...won. When Addy got restless, we walked around to the back where the horses waited for their turn. She loved them. This morning when she woke up (morning after) she just kept saying "orsies" and "rides" over and over. Guess she liked it. Can't wait for Herriman Days this weekend...yee hah!
