Oh what do you do in the summertime, when it's ninety-eight degrees?
All of our husbands (Dani, Jenni, Lisa, and myself) were in Logan for the MS 150, so we staked out a nice patch of grass and waited for the good times to begin.
What happened to the nice leg crossing? After the parade we ventured over to the DayBreak grand opening. Addy had a meltdown (shocker!) so we went over to the cupcake decorating tent and I calmed her down with a small cup of sprinkles. Good thing her smart mom dressed her in white. (Cute skirt Sans)
After a nearly 4-hour afternoon nap, the day was topped off with Annie's 2-year-old birthday party in their backyard. The kids played outside until it was time for presents and then everyone came inside. . . everyone, that is, except for Addy. She wanted to stay out and play in the giraffe pool and go down the slip-n-slide in the background. She loved it all!
Another one of my Mom's great cake creations. If you want to see more, check out September of 2007 for Claire's Pony Train and Addy's Polka Dot Flower.
Addy & Annie enjoying Elmo.Happy Birthday Annie.
