My road-bike-riding-loving-husband experienced the power of peer pressure when he was talked into running this 1/2 marathon by my brother Tyler. He has never liked to run and has only done a 5K back in the day when he did a triathlon, but he did AWESOME! He finished faster than he planned and doesn't necessarily want to do another one anytime soon, he still loves cycling, but that doesn't mean he can't be talked into it. 
This is Addy waiting for her Dad to run buy. Actually, this is Addy's reaction to me saying, "Hey Addy, smile for the camera."

Why don't I have any pictures of Jonathan running you ask? Well, that's because I totally missed him, my brother, and my uncle. I would have missed Jenni too, but she saw me and yelled at me. Way to go to all of you running fools!

ReplyDeleteI never knew the carlson's where such runners! Hey about the poppy's, the ones in your picture were California poppies which I have never gotten to grow very well, but I have gotten Oriental poppies do really well. They are similar but larger. It could very well be my lack of gardening skills but I have tried California poppies twice with no luck. Did you finish your baby's room or do you still want to come by sometime?
