- Addy climbed in London's crib to "see her." Good thing Jonathan walked in when he did.
- She pretends to nurse her doll on her "boo boos"
- London was crying, needing to eat and Addy asks, "Are you going to eat her?" Uh...no. But I may feed her.
- Always greets London very slowly, in a really high, squeaky voice, "Hiiiiiiiiiiiii, baby Lonnnnnnnndonnnnnnnnn." Makes me wonder if I sound like that when I talk to her.
- All potty-training has completely gone out the window. No interest at all in the potty. Wants to wear diapers or pull-ups. Help!
So funny, both of my girls "nursed" their babies too. When I first potty trained Madelyne she did great for awhile and then just totally stopped. On the advice of a smart friend I just put her back in diapers (not pull ups because those are more fun) and didn't say anything about the potty. A couple months later she came to me and said she didn't like diapers, and two days later we were accident and pull up free. I don't know if this would work for every child, but it sure seems better than struggling and fighting them over it. With a new baby to worry about, my advice would be to just not worry about it for a little while and let her wear diapers until she is ready to be a "big girl" again.
ReplyDeleteWhen you are feeling up to it I would love to come and visit you and little London. Let me know.
Sounds like Addy is loving her new sister!! Hope you guys are doing well. I can't wait to come see London again sometime soon! Heading to St. George for the weekend but will touch base with you when I get back to see when I can come visit :)
ReplyDeleteLove it. I love the adjustments you have to make. You are doing well, don't worry about the potty training. It will happen when it happens. Congrats. You are all beautiful.
