Addy's 1st Birthday

We had a very fun polka dot party for Addy on Saturday to celebrate her first birthday. While I still need to download the pictures, I just wanted to write how grateful I am to have such an amazing little spirit in our home. Jonny and I often try to remember what it was like before we had her, simply because our world now revolves around her. Yes, it was nice to go to a movie and out to dinner whenever we wanted....but I wouldn't trade being Addy's mom for anything.

Things I love about Addy:

• I love the cute little gap in her little corn teeth when she smiles
• I love the way her mouth forms a perfect "O" when she says "Uh oh"
• I love how she pats my back when I hug her in the morning
• I love kissing that little part on her neck, just under her chin
• I love the way her little head bobs to music
• I love the way she pulls her ears and rubs her hair when she's frustrated
• I love her yummy baby smell
• I love her sweet cartoon-like voice and her cute jibberish language
• I love watching her in the tub...especially when she tries to drink the water
• I love her stick-straight toehead-blond hair that is starting to peek out over her ears
• I love all her wiggles. She just doesn't hold still anymore.
• I love her long eyelashes that are so blond if you don't get close, you'll miss them
• I love her cute Dad who takes such good care of the two of us--we are so lucky.
