John & Sandi were brave enough to invite all the kids and grandkids for a long weekend in Lake Powell. It was a bittersweet trip for me. I quickly realized now that we have Addy, Lake Powell just isn't going to be how it used to be for a while. It used to be getting up early to get the best water, skiing until we couldn't move, laying out, reading books, taking naps, cliff jumping, tubing, etc. Now it is little boat rides, little watercraft rides, hang out on the houseboat and try to get Addy to take a nap....again. Addy loved skinny dipping in the lake and taking a bath in the big rubbermaid bin. All in all, it really was a fun trip--just different, and that's okay. Thanks again Pops & Sans...we love you!
