Addy-isms

I've really been enjoying Addy a lot lately. She still has her moments, believe me, but for the most part, she just talks and sings and talks and sings and talks and keeps us laughing.

Addy with her cousin Calvin, whom she lovingly calls "Cowboy." He is so laid back that he goes along with whatever she wants, i.e. "Hey Cowboy, wear this lovely girly flower beach hat and my Mom's shoes while I wear my yeehah hat and my Mom's crocs, then raise your arms up in the air while my Dad takes a picture." Then by looking at this picture, she thinks to herself, "Sucker!"


This was the day it was like 70 degrees. She insisted on wearing all of the choices viewed here...hat, glasses, and long sleeved, hooded shirt. No wonder we got so many weird looks at the store.

Hey, at least she wasn't wearing Superman pajamas with a cape all day.

So some of the funny things Addy has been saying and doing lately:

• Holy crap. (I honestly don't think I say this, so I'm not sure where she picked it up...Dora perhaps?)
• Let's go to the colored slides. (Not the green slide by our house, but the red, blue, and yellow ones by the junior high)
• Oooo, spooky. (Said anytime she enters a dark room...think she got this from her haunted-house-loving-cousin Oliver)
• She calls herself Addy-grul (girl)
• When I'm pushing her on the swing, she asks for a "scary push."
• I'm cold. Get under the cupboards. (covers)
• She always has to have her blankies cover her toes, which is getting harder and harder the taller she grows.
• I pushed the bundt! (button...said everytime she opens or closes the garage)
• Scooch you? (said when needed to be scooted in while sitting on chair or barstool)
