Addy's 5th Birthday Party

Addy decided she wanted to have a "Dance Party" with all her friends to celebrate her 5th birthday.  On Addy's 1st birthday it was snowing outside, so I am always grateful for gorgeous September weather which made for a perfect outdoor party.

We started by painting everyone's fingernails a pretty sparkly pink

Then added sparkles to everyone's hair
(23 weeks pregnant)

With all the dancers looking their best, these girls were ready to party!
(Addy has about 20 dance costumes to choose from, thanks to cousin hand-me-downs, and it made me laugh that this was her outfit of choice)

Pin the Tiara on the Ballerina

Quick dance break before the next activity

Presents!

These are some of the nicest, cutest, kindest, most polite girls I know and I feel so very blessed that Addy has so many wonderful friends that all live so close to us.

Too cute!  Hugs initiated from the girls.

Pinata time.

Jonny underestimated the strength of these 5-year-old girls when given a large stick.  That pony's head didn't even have a chance.  I only think about 3 girls got a chance to hit the pony before it was officially decapitated.

After cupcakes and ice cream, it was dance party time.  The girls would dance in small groups while the rest watched and applauded.

It was so cute to see no inhibitions.  Can you imagine doing this at an adult party?  It gave me the giggles.

Thanks to the supporting cast for all their help!
