Addy's Latest

• For those of you who live in Utah, you know those billboards on I-15 for Ivory Homes with the former Miss Utah, Jill Stevens? Every time we pass those, Addy says, "Look Mom, it's a picture of you!" Yes, we do have similar hair (when I actually do mine), but shouldn't your own child be able to recognize you? Looks like I need to have some serious stranger danger talks because if Jill Stevens shows up and tries to take Addy, I don't think Addy would think twice. (Okay, this probably won't happen, I'm sure she's a very nice girl and doesn't go around taking others' children)

• When I am talking to anyone Addy doesn't know, when they leave she says, "What are those names?"

• While driving in the car, Addy looks over at London and says, "Mom, London doesn't have any teeth, she just has spits."

• Her 'L's have become 'W's, which I find very endearing every time she says hi to her baby "Wun-dun."

• She starts many of her sentences with "because" without anyone asking a "why" question. Just this morning I was bathing London and Addy was out watching a show. She came in the bathroom and said in a whiny voice, "Because I want to watch another show." Hmm. How exactly would I diagram that sentence?

• Thanks to her cousin Calvin's influence, her response to many requests is, "No, I can't because it's too hard." For example, she asks me for her blanket. I tell her it's on her bed and to run and get it. "No, I can't because it's too hard." Really?

• My Mom is Grandma Cozy and my Dad is Grandpa Barney. Lately, she calls my Dad either Grandpa Cozy or Grandma Barney. I laugh every time.
