Today your Dad gave you a beautiful blessing. He held you in a circle with your uncles, grandpas, and even your great grandpa. He blessed you with a keen intelligence and the power to discern truth. He blessed you with a desire to be educated both formally and informally and to use the means of the gospel to seek and apply the principles of truth. He blessed you to be mindful of your body and its needs with your metabolic deficiency so you will not suffer any of its ill effects. He blessed you with a strong desire to use your free agency for good and that you will make wise decisions and have a desire to gain a testimony of the Savior and look to your parents for guidance. He blessed you that when the time comes that you will be married in the temple and have children. You were blessed to be an influence of good in the lives of your family and friends.

You are very lucky to have such a great Dad who is worthy and honors his priesthood. You have a big sister who can't wait until you can play with her. You have been blessed with a wonderful family full of aunts, uncles, and cousins who adore you. Your grandparents love you. And I am the luckiest of them all because I get to be your Mom.
